Hi! Hope you all are doing well. π Today we will talk about the most important but the underrated feature of our face.
Eyebrows, we are going to talk about the eyebrows. I know many of us don’t know what to do with the eyebrows! We just pluck our brows once in a while and we think it is more than enough. No darling that’s not enough.
- Plucking eyebrows is important but not as important as highlighting your eyebrows.
You must be thinking “highlighting eyebrows” what does it mean. Let me explain, when we get ready we do makeup, we do apply eyeshadows, eyeliners, lipsticks, blush bla bla bla. But have you ever noticed that an undefined eyebrow makes you look odd? If not then you must know how to define your eyebrows.
The weapons we are going to need!
a) Here I have two eyebrow pencils, one from Maybelline and other from Miss Claire. b) One angular brush and one eyebrow defining brush. ( There is a black Eyeshadow from Deborah, I am going to disclose the use of that shadow later)
*You can use products of any brand whichever suits you. I have shown mine.
OPTION 1
Brushing the eyebrow: start with brushing your brows downward and then upward. This step will help you to know the actual shape of your eyebrows.
- Making the outline: we are going to draw 3 tiny lines with the eyebrow pencil. So that we can get an idea of the places we need to fill with the pencil.
Here you can see I have marked 3 points, at the beginning, at the middle, and at the end.
That’s all. Your job is done folks.
- Fill the eyebrow: now take a brush, I have used the angular brush. Blend the lines which we have drawn earlier.
This is how your eyebrows should look after blending. As I like the soft and everyday kind of look, so for me this finish is just perfect.
OPTION 2
I am going to use the Maybelline Brow Duo Shaper to define my brows.
- Make an outline: exactly like before draw three tiny lines where you want your brows to be more thick.
Now with the other end fill the brows evenly. The finished look is given below.
β#The blunder#
Here you will get know the use of black Eyeshadow. Actually we shouldn’t use anything black in color to define our brows. If you use the color black then the output will look something like this.
You can see how awful my eyebrows are looking! We all want a natual looking eyebrows right? Black is making the look very unnatural and very harsh. Better option is to use a dark brown or even a light brown color.
*Please excuse my no makeup, bare face! π
Hope you like the content. And hope your everyday’s struggle is much more sorted now. ππ
I know what you mean, well-defined eyebrows make a whole lot of difference to the rest of the face! I have seen pictures of myself two years ago with my eyebrows undone and I don’t know what I was thinking. I looked absolutely aged and hideous lol. Thanks a lot for sharing such helpful tips!

Lol I agree.. it completely changes your face. Although I have seen some shapes that just really look plastic. But it’s such a facial upgrade. Great post!

You’re so right. Black makes the eyebrows look so unnatural. BTW you have amazing skin and you’re glowing even without any makeup π
